Drywall, Done Right
From hanging sheets in a new addition to patching a doorknob hole, we treat every square foot with the same standard — invisible seams, flawless corners, surfaces so smooth they disappear under paint.

Drywall Installation
Whether it's a single room, a full basement, or an entire new-construction home, our drywall installation sets the stage for everything that follows. We hang, tape, mud, and sand until the walls and ceilings are perfectly flat — because paint, wallpaper, and lighting reveal every imperfection.
- New drywall installation for additions, remodels & new construction
- Standard 1/2-inch & 5/8-inch fire-rated drywall for garages & shared walls
- Moisture-resistant green board & cement board for bathrooms & wet areas
- Sound-dampening drywall & resilient channel for noise reduction between rooms
- Screw pattern that meets code — every stud, every edge, no nail pops later
- Precision cutting around outlets, fixtures & odd angles — tight fits, no gaps

Drywall Repair
Holes happen. Water damage happens. Settling cracks happen. The question isn't whether walls get damaged — it's whether the repair is invisible or obvious. We fix drywall so you genuinely can't tell anything was ever wrong there.
- Doorknob & furniture holes — patched, taped & sanded flush
- Large holes from plumbing access or accidents — backed, filled & seamless
- Water damage repair — leak source addressed, damaged drywall replaced, finished to match
- Ceiling repairs — sagging, cracks, water stains, texture matching
- Nail pops & hairline cracks — we don't just mud over them, we fix the cause
- Texture matching after repair — so the patched area blends completely with existing walls

Taping, Mudding & Finishing
This is where the craftsmanship shows — or doesn't, which is the point. A properly finished drywall job has no visible seams, no sanding scratches, and no "ghosting" under paint. We do the three-coat process that takes longer but lasts forever.
- Paper tape for flat seams & inside corners — stronger and thinner than mesh
- Three-coat mud process: tape coat, fill coat, finish coat — never shortcut to two
- Feathering each coat 6–12 inches beyond the previous one for invisible transitions
- Wet-sanding where possible to eliminate dust; pole sanding with vacuum attachment for the rest
- Inside & outside corner bead — metal for durability, bullnose for softer profiles
- Spot-priming finished drywall to reveal any imperfections before texture or paint

Wall & Ceiling Textures
Not every wall or ceiling wants to be smooth. Texture adds depth, hides minor imperfections in older homes, and can dramatically change the feel of a room. We match existing textures perfectly for repairs, or create new ones for remodels.
- Knockdown texture — the classic California look, sprayed and knocked down for a stucco-like pattern
- Orange peel — light spray texture that adds subtle depth without dominating
- Skip trowel — hand-applied Mediterranean-style finish with a rustic, organic feel
- Smooth finish (Level 5) — the highest standard, skim-coated wall-to-wall for glass-flat perfection
- Popcorn ceiling removal & replacement — tested for asbestos first, then scraped, resurfaced & refinished
- Perfect texture matching on repairs — we match the existing pattern so the patch disappears

Surface Finishing & Specialty Work
Beyond standard drywall, we handle specialty surface work that most drywall crews won't touch. From decorative plasters to skim-coating old textured walls into modern smooth surfaces, we bring the skills that transform okay walls into great ones.
- Level 5 skim coat — the highest finish grade, troweled wall-to-wall for mirror-flat perfection under high-gloss paint
- Venetian plaster — polished lime plaster with marble dust for a depth and glow that paint can't replicate
- Textured ceiling removal — popcorn, acoustic, and outdated textures removed safely and replaced with smooth or modern texture
- Beadboard, wainscoting & shiplap installation — adds architectural character to any room
- Drywall over existing surfaces — brick, concrete block, or damaged plaster covered cleanly
- Arched openings, curved walls & custom architectural features framed and finished
Not All Drywall Finishes Are Equal
The industry uses five finish levels. Most contractors default to Level 3 or 4. We discuss what each level means so you get exactly what your project needs — no paying for a Level 5 when Level 4 is right, and no surprises when Level 5 is what the room actually demands.
Fire Tape
Tape embedded in joint compound. No additional coats. For attics, garages, and areas that won't be seen.
Unseen utility spacesTape & Fill
Tape covered with a thin coat of compound. For surfaces that will receive tile or other coverings.

Tape embedded + one full skim coat. Ready for medium-to-heavy textures like knockdown or orange peel.
Textured walls & ceilingsSmooth Finish
Tape + two finish coats, sanded. The standard for most residential walls receiving flat or eggshell paint.

Hang
Sheets measured, cut, and screwed to framing. Staggered seams prevent cracking. Tight gaps at all joints for minimal mud.
Tape & Mud
Paper tape embedded at every seam and inside corner. Three coats of compound — tape, fill, finish — each feathered wider than the last.
Sand & Inspect
Wet-sanding first to minimize dust, then pole-sanding with vacuum. Spot-primed and inspected under raking light to catch every flaw.
Texture or Prime
Texture applied per spec, or walls sealed with PVA primer for paint. Final inspection to confirm every surface is ready.
